The hotel surprised me with its high room rates, but the bed was wide and comfy. The rooms were large and clean, offering a luxurious stay. The friendly staff arranged a lovely surprise cake for my birthday celebration. The beach location provided a nice view but lacked privacy. The dining options were limited, leading me to dine elsewhere most days.

Staying at this place for the remaining 3 nights, I found the rooms to be good but a little dated. However, there was a really strong smell of mold, which was unpleasant. The service was friendly and helpful, but their English level could use improvement. The hotel was located on the beautiful Chai Chet beach, although it's best to get a room away from the road. The dining experience was not up to par, especially with unhygienic cleaning of tables and low-quality coffee. I also found the breakfast options limited. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located just off the main road, making island exploration easy.

The hotel rooms may experience some road noise throughout the day until late evening but quiet down well at night. Although they were the most expensive I encountered during my holiday, they were massive, clean, and just excellent. The service was incredibly helpful and super friendly, although a better command of English could be beneficial. The location was excellent for Koh Chang, offering a quieter street and a beautiful beach, with warm bathwater. The dining experience was good, with a nice variety of food. Overall, the hotel provides a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks.
